I have more than 15 years of experience in English-Albanian, Albanian-English translation. The experience gained make me be the one who can deliver high quality work respecting all the deadlines of the clients. I live in Galway, Ireland. I’m a certified Court Interpreter, and have also trained in medical interpreting with institutions such as Context.ie , Lionbridge. Translation.ie, and Word Perfect, I have done consecutive, sight and simultaneous medical, legal, business and administrative interpreting for different Companies, Hospitals, Children’s Hospitals, City and County Councils, Courts, Police Stations, and others.
I have also done extensive translation & subtitling work, which include translating written documents from English to Albanian, editing previous translations, and transcribing, translating & subtitling films, interviews and informational videos.
I have an MA in Writing from National University of Ireland, Galway, BA in Literature from University of Shkoder, Albania and BA Honours in Heritage Studies from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Ireland. My rates, work samples and references are available upon request.
