
The Irish Writers Centre (IWC) Professional Writer Membership/Certificate requires meeting at least three specific criteria. These include having published books with an ISBN; winning recognised awards; receiving Arts Council grants or residencies; holding tax-exempt status as an artist; or being paid for public readings or facilitation. The focus is on verifiable and recognised achievements in writing.
